Private Coaching & Mentoring
Amazing companies don’t happen with mediocre leaders. And yet many startups and small companies put people into leadership positions without relevant, modern leadership training, and often without appropriate support.
Coaching and mentoring can give you the skills and tools you need to be a great leader, to inspire your people, and to help them grow.
When you work with me, you’ll be seen. I’ll challenge you and get you outside of your comfort zone. I work in a trauma-informed manner, since most humans have experienced some level of trauma in their life. You will also find empathy, compassion, and a fierce champion for all you are and do.

“Working with Elise off and on as my coach for 4+ years shaped me not just as a professional but also as a person. Her balance of empathy and not letting one get away with their historic bullshit thought patterns was exactly right for me, at multiple stages in my career. She helped me kick myself out of my own way and gave me space when things were completely falling apart to let them be broken and the space to bring those pieces back together. I’m more empathic in my understanding of my colleagues, reports, and management chains. This has given me the power to make changes in systems I would have considered unfixable earlier in my career. To get curious instead of angry. This transformed several of my personal relationships for the better and allowed me to transform them rather than abandoning them as forever broken. Would recommend, would coach with again.”

“I can’t thank Elise enough for her incredible support and guidance during my previous job search. Her insights and mentorship were invaluable, helping me navigate the process with confidence. Elise’s dedication to her clients is truly inspiring. Highly recommend her coaching services to anyone looking to advance their career!”

“I worked with Elise a few times during my time at Qumulo, in a number of different contexts. First, as a Scrum Master, where she was introducing agile methodologies into my engineering team, and later on as a colleague in different working groups in the engineering org, and latterly as a coach in a 1:1 modality.
Looking back, I think the 1:1 coaching is probably the work that I’m most grateful for. I was struggling to find my path in the org, having declined to take on an engineering role that many of my colleagues accepted. I remember we used to talk about how some moves might be good for me, vs good for advancement, vs good for the company. By showing me different ways of thinking about my options, she helped me try out some different things. Ultimately, this has led me to understand who I am / want to be a lot better than I used to, which is kind of invaluable.”
